In this case, you can submit a claim for Loss of Income Compensation kyuugyo kyuufu directly to the Work Standard Inspection Office rodo kijun kantoku sho. If you cannot work because of a work-related accident, from the 4th day, 80% of your basic daily benefit (average wage) will be paid (60% as compensation and 20% as special credit). Article 76 of the Labour Standards Law states that your employer must pay you for the first 3 days. However, if the accident happened when you were commuting to or from work, the arrangement is slightly different and your employer does not have any obligation to compensate you for your loss of income for the initial 3 days. From the 4th day, you can receive the Loss of Income Compensation from the Rosai scheme.
