In Japan, lots of businesses have customary bonuses (payments for every 3 or more months work) during the year. The Rosai “calculated daily bonus-type benefit” is the lowest figure from the following:

a) your annual total bonus-type work payments (excluding any extra-ordinary payments) divided by 365 days.

b) 20% of your basic daily benefit,

c) 1,500,000 yen per annum divided by 365.
